so i'm going to update you all on my life a little bit. today has been a pretty productive day by my standards, which is pretty lenient i'm not going to lie haha. but i fully cleaned my room, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned my car inside and out, and now i'm feelin pretty damn good. i'm writing this as i take a break from my list of things i need to get done today.
many of you may not know, but i'm in the process of trying to finally move out. to do that, i need to obviously make more money. after i'm done writing this, i'm going to turn in my application at my current job, to become a night-time valet manager (wish me luck that everything goes as planned.) with that position, i'll feel confident that i can easily make payments and have plenty of cash to spare, so to me it's the ideal situation. i'm also heading there to check my schedule for the next week, which brings me to my rant of the post. let me get your guys opinion on how ANNOYING this would be to you all. so my workplace used to schedule us on a week to week basis of monday through sunday, sounds great right? it was. but until recently they changed the way they scheduled us on a saturday through friday basis. so basically, it's friday and i can't even tell you guys whether or not i'm working this weekend. messed up? people PLAN their lives around the weekend, and now because of this I can't even make plans for the weekend because i don't even know whether or not i'm working. Ive told them it's completely retarded, but it seems theres nothing i can do about it. i'm looking into it because ive never heard of scheduling like this, it seems downright illegal. whatever though. i guess i'll deal til something changes.... ughadjkahsdjahksfhgl

ReplyDeleteFirst, I think actaully having a list of "to do" items and working on it sounds incredibly productive. Second, that work schedule is incredibly bizarre. It is also just plain, farty. Unfortunately, I guess, they can do it however they want. Hopefully, they will want to keep good employees happy and will change it. I will be praying that they do and that you get the job you want. Love you.
